Job Description
Qualifications :
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in midMichigan. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence twice a week. Remoteonly candidates will not be considered.
Qualified candidates will be required to complete an onsite assessment in Lansing MI. Virtual interviews may also be conducted with proper identification verification required.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in developing complex database systems
- 8 years of experience with Databricks
- 8 years of experience with Elastic search and Kibana
- 8 years of proficiency in Python/Scala
- 8 years of experience with Oracle databases
- 5 years of experience in Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes and Data Pipeline engineering
- 5 years of experience with AWS cloud services
- 5 years of experience in data warehousing data visualization and ensuring data integrity
- 5 years of experience with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices
- 5 years of experience in agile development processes including testdriven development
Compensation: Up to $90/hour
Contract Duration: 1 year with potential for extension
