Job Description
The Credit analyst position will utilize organizational computer and communication skills to support the credit team and the sales staff at Mueller to meet customer commitments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing credit applications in a timely and accurate manner
- Preparing and sending monthly customer account statements
- Prompt and courteous responses to internal and external requests.
- Perform accurate recordkeeping duties system entries and updates. Process vendor invoices and general administrative transactions. Coordinate work with others and communicate effectively to accomplish required job duties and responsibilities.
- Processing transaction information including
- Customer refunds
- 8300 forms
- Job information for lien reports
- Changes in customer information
- Willing and able to work as part of a team with additional duties and responsibilities as needed to ensure the success of the credit team and the company.
Qualifications :
- 3 plus of experience in credit and collections
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards software preferred
- Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets word processing required
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multitask while flexible to changing demands
- Excellent organizational skills
- Work in multiple computer systems
- Selfstarter that once trained can work without constant supervision
