Job Description
The US Specialty Finance Lead position drives the financial planning and monthend close process for gastrointestinal care (GIC) portfolio with specific focus on SG&A and FTEs. The responsibility encompasses managing approximately $200MM in annual expenses and supporting the GIC Marketing and Sales Force teams. The role will develop financial planning and analytical skills and this role will engage with the GIC and US Specialty team members as well as 3rd Party Collaboration partner.
Responsibilities
- Leads and develops monthly quarterly and annual Plan LRP and LBEs for GIC products and the product collaboration using BPC SAP HFM. Forecast responsibilities include P&L FTE and balance sheet.
- Operates independently to prepare relevant variance analysis for each Planning Cycle and develops meaningful management reporting schedules for direct areas supported.
- Works directly with GIC market GIC Sales Force Patient Services Commercial Analytics and Operations and Accounting Shared Service on monthly close process and financial reporting to ensure complete accurate and timely monthly actual results including variance analysis and commentary for P&L FTE and balance sheet.
- Understands monthly results and communicates issues vs. benchmark to businesses supported to agree on resolution or action plan.
- Leads financial reviews and approvals (purchase order requests and invoices).
- Leads ad hoc analysis projects and process improvements as needed.
- May have supervisory responsibility for one or more direct reports.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA or MBA a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive and related experience.
- Strong financial analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in Excel required.
- Knowledge of SAP and BPC a plus.
- Individual must be initiativetaking and demonstrate a high level of accountability.
- Ability to innovative and maintain a continuous improvement attitude.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
