Fulltime 1.0 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
UnityPoint Clinic is seeking a compassionate detail-oriented Clinic Nurse to join our Nephrology team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients managing chronic kidney disease hypertension and other renal-related conditions. As a key member of our care team youll work closely with nephrologists nurse practitioners and support staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting
Assist with patient assessments medication administration and education on chronic kidney disease management
Triage incoming calls assist with scheduling and coordinate follow-up care
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Support a clean and safe clinical environment in compliance with infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure
- CPR certification
- Mandatory Reporter certification
- Ability to direct others and to exercise judgement in problem situations
- Creative thinking; analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities; self-direction; theoretical implementation and evaluation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Strong computer skills
- Able to write read comprehend and speak fluent English
- Computer data entry experience
- Use of usual/customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
