Job Description

As a General Labourer youll play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Youll get handson experience working with metal materials all while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

What youre responsible for:

  • Sorting and segregating different types of ferrous and non ferrous materials
  • Operating machinery and equipment used in the recycling process
  • Inspecting loading and unloading of customer vehicles and trucks
  • Performing depollution of vehicles including removing oils gas coolant etc
  • Conducting basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas
  • Following safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment

Qualifications :

To join our team:

  • You are a current student or have recently finished school
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are comfortable working in a loud dusty heavy industrial environment
  • You are comfortable performing repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
  • You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • You have a willingness to learn and perform various tasks
