We are seeking a Junior Fleet Controller for a permanent role based in Durbanville Western Cape
We are seeking a Junior Fleet Controller for a permanent role based in Durbanville Western Cape
Duties & Responsibilities
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
Salary: R12000 per month dependent on experience (provident after probation & 13th Cheque)

- Grade 12 with 2 years relevant work experience in fleet control & tracking
- Experience with fleetbased IT systems
- Strong communication skills
- Valid drivers and own transport
- Fluency in both English and Afrikaans
- Good work ethic and of sober habits
- Willing to take annual leave during December construction shutdown period
- Resident in the Northern suburbs
- Must have strong personality and be good communicator
- Able to control 25 vehicles in 4 locations simultaneously
- Fleet compliance manage condition of fleet; service programs; prestart checklists
- Safety attend to breakdowns/ investigate incidents; monitor speeding issues
- Maintenance fleet efficiency; reduce down time; cost saving; problem solving; workshop flow
- Fleet tracking check delivery addresses; establish best route; monitor of offloading times; monitor truck returns; checks vehicle whereabouts after hours
- General assist with site access; oversee no stops; truck diverting; despatch communication; updating representative as to fleet status
Salary: R12000 per month dependent on experience (provident after probation & 13th Cheque)
