Job Description
Overview:
Individual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance repairs and improvements on industrial equipment and facilities/building equipment in an automated foot processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety food quality and machine efficiency.
Heres what youll do:
- Ensures self and coworkers are compliant with all safety rules and regulations (LOTO fall protection hot work etc.
- Perform uptime and downtime inspections lubrications and preventative maintenance on weighers baggers conveyors high speed roll up doors etc.
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective work on all mechanical electrical 120v 220v single and three phase 480v) pneumatic and hydraulic systems within the facility
- Identify and execute improvements on equipment documentation work systems and processes
- Repair/replace light ballasts light switches some minor plumbing painting and other facility repair
- Collaborates with different levels of employees in various departments of the facility through facetoface telephone email and radio communications
- Provide training and development to operators and other maintenance personnel
- Research system and component specifications using equipment manuals schematics parts breakdowns online information and vendor communication
- Dismantle and reassemble complex pieces of machinery in an efficient precise and reliable manner
- Operates cutting welding and various other fabrication equipment to cut form and/or join materials
- Creates/modifies work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System and documents details of work performed
- Research parts gather quotes and generates requests
- Escalate technical procedural and personnel related issues to direct lead or supervisor as necessary
- Work with moral integriy on a consistent basis
- Performs other assigned duties and projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Heres what youll bring to the table:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Technical degree and three years or more of related experience and/or training in production/manufacturing environment is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Must be able to read analyze interpret and present out general business items to groups
- Effective English communication is a must bilingual is preferred
- Must possess ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition subtraction multiplication and division
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations is preferred
- Employee will be expected to work overtime weekends and rotating/varying shifts as well as be available for emergency callout as needed
Pay Range: $33.50$39.00
