Job Description
Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the India Operations Finance team. This role will have a
direct impact on driving the future of Amazons worldclass operations network. You will work with senior
leadership within Operations and Finance. This will involve financial planning ad hoc analysis and special projects to influence decisionmaking with senior leadership. You will be responsible for financial metrics reporting forecasting & planning and to help business in decision support through data analysis & business insight.
Key Responsibility Areas
Partner with Operations and other support teams to drive continuous improvement in financial
and performance
Driving the annual operational planning process
Ensure timely preparation and reporting of key metrics
Partner with teams across the organization to drive optimal cross functional decisions that
maximize Amazons longterm free cash flow
Work on key business opportunities and drive efficiency while balancing customer promise
Finance experience with heavy emphasis on analytics and ability to work along with diverse
partner teams
Resultsoriented highly energetic dynamic individual with handson approach on advanced
analytical skills and the ability to get into the details while also seeing and understanding the big
picture
Demonstrate experience of successfully driving complex projects
Demonstrate ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing operating conditions while still
delivering to expectations
6 years of related experience in finance accounting or other related analytical experience
Experience in business forecasting and spreadsheet modeling
Proven ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items; strong
analytical skills
Strong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of
management
Ability to achieve effective results in a fastpaced dynamic evergrowing environment
Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads; understanding of finance issues in an
operational environment of rapid growth.
CA/MBA
Designing financial reports in Excel/Cognos/Access
Solid problem solving and root cause analysis experience
Strong analytical and business sense
Ability to simplify financial processes and reports
