POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:School Guidance CurriculumAcademic skills supportOrganizational study and testtaking skillsEducation in understanding self and othersCoping strategiesPeer relationships and effective social skillsCommunication problemsolving decisionmaking and conflict resolutionCareer awareness exploration and planningSubstance abuse educationMulticultural/diversity awarenessStudent leadership developmentIndividual Student PlanningGoalsetting/decisionmakingAcademic planningCareer planningEducation in understanding of self including strengths and weaknessesTransition planningResponsive ServicesParticipant in district databased Student Support Team (SST) monitoringFacilitator of high school databased SSTIndividual and small group counselingIndividual/family/school crisis interventionPeer facilitationConsultation/collaborationReferralsTestingScheduling and managements of district and state common assessmentsQUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: Masters degree in school counseling certification/certifiable in : Three to five years of successful school counseling work with grades PER YEAR: 195 DAYS PER WEEK: 5 HOURS PER DAY: 7.75SALARY RANGE: By NTA DATE: August 15 2025
