As a Senior Microsoft Wintel Engineer within our team you will be responsible for developing and automating the infrastructure for building testing and deploying applications. By collaborating with various teams your contributions will enhance the digital banking experience for both our customers and staff.
What youll do
- Engage in the entire lifecycle of infrastructure engineering from conceptualization to production deployment.
- Develop infrastructure solutions encompassing databases infrastructure services monitoring high availability and more.
- Design infrastructure that is highly maintainable secure and incorporates quality and automated testing principles.
- Advocate for and implement Lean/ Agile/ Kanban practices methodologies and mindsets. Foster Agile leadership.
What were looking for
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Microsoft (Wintel or equivalent) platforms and applications.
- Extensive experience in operating infrastructure for high availability and continuous operations.
- Expertise in managing and supporting systems according to security baselines such as Microsoft best practices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell programming.
- Familiarity and experience with Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure testing.
- Solid Software Engineering fundamentals including Systems design algorithmic programming and DB orchestration.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field or 3 years of industry experience in a similar senior engineering role.
