Position Overview:

This is a key role in the organization. The Network Operations Center Managers primary responsibility is to plan organize and manage staff and overall operations to ensure stability of the organizations infrastructure. The Network Operations Center Manager provides overall expertise in the network operationsfunctions. NOC Manager will manage and provide as needed handson technical support work related to the overall health and maintenance of the organizations multiple environments. This position will perform tier2 and 3 escalation support and act as the point of contact in the NOC for all inquiries from Senior Leadership and other Managers.

• Technical competency in the following areas will be foundational forsuccess:
• Thorough understanding of IP Networks including VLANs
• Firewalls switches routers and other network equipment
• VPN Load Balancer Web Application Firewall
• Windows and Linux Server administration
• Web Server(s) concepts and administration
• Virtualization Backup Procedures Disaster Recovery and High Availability using industry standards
• Active Directory DHCP DNS Group Policy
• Clustering Load Balancing
• AntiMalware and Cybersecurity concepts

1. 812 years prior NOC experience
2. He / she should be flexible and creative.
3. Selfdisciplined selfmotivated and the ability to organize and prioritize time effectively.
4. Ability to manage and lead a team.
5. Underlying awareness of the bigger picture.
6. Ability to think quickly take the initiative and willingness to make judgment calls.
7. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. Willingness and ability to learn new products and network technologies quickly often without the focus of formalised training.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Be able to communicate about networking issues effectively and in a comprehensible manner both to clients and employees
