Job Description
SwimRVA is looking for a Life Safety and Events Manager to support the development of a world class safety team. The Manager will help lead coach and recertify Professional Rescuers. You will also be part of our workforce development initiative working to support the aquatics industry in the Richmond region. The manager will also support SwimRVAs events and will help coordinate and deliver world class events such as the TYR Pro Swim Series US Masters National Championships and beyond. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills along with the desire to coach and mentor our Professional rescuer and events team to provide world class safety and event service for the Richmond region.

Qualifications
- Passion for safety and the power of aquatics to support the health and goals of the Richmond region
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED and Emergency Oxygen required.
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) or ability to get within 60days.
- CPO/AFO or ability to get within 90 days
- 4 years of experience in Aquatics 2 years of management preferred
- Creative and dynamic problem solver
- Attention to detail

Salary/Benefits
Fulltime exempt position with health dental short and longterm disability IRA with employer match life insurance and three weeks paid time off.
Annual Salary: $42000 dependent upon experience
