Job Description
*We will be hiring applicants out of this pool for Sports Camps in June July August & December 2023. Under the general supervision of the Sports Camp Director the Sports Camp Coach performs a variety of duties related to the teaching of sports skills and training.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience or interest in sportspecific camp instruction. Knowledge and Skills: Must have strong communication and listening skills. The ability to communicate effectively while working with people of all ages and abilities. Must have verbal skills interest and enthusiasm in the subject patience and an interest in working with diverse groups of students. Requires basic clerical skills. Abilities: Requires the ability to work well with others to accomplish the objectives of the position. The position requires flexibility a positive attitude and enthusiasm. Requires the ability to perform all aspects of the job. Requires the ability to interpret faculty instructions. Must be able to work respectfully with individuals of all cultures backgrounds perspectives and abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of athletics and sports is preferred.
