Job Details Application Deadline: Friday May 9 2025 Start Date: July 1 2025Job Description The ACCEPT Board of Directors invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Interim Executive Director for theschool year. The ACCEPT collaborative educates about 124 students from 34 communities across the metrowest area with 15 of those communities being member districts. ACCEPT provides special education classroom programs transportation homebased and consultation services Medicaid reimbursement professional development and education technology services. The collaborative employs approximately 200 full and parttime professional and support successful candidate must exhibit a record of strong leadership skills at the administrative or central office level and/or at another collaborative. They must have demonstrated evidence of helping learners to achieve their full educational potential including their academic social emotional and behavioral learning. The candidate should also have a record of building successful teams and developing strong collaborative relationships with those they interact with. While a masters degree is required a Ph.D or Ed.D is preferred. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensing as a Superintendent of Schools in Massachusetts. The Board of Directors is committed to offering a regionally competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience along with a generous benefits : Masters degree or higher doctorate preferredLicensure and minimum of three years of proven leadership as a Superintendent Assistant Superintendent Executive Director or a Director of Student Services;Demonstrated success in the design implementation and evaluation of special education programs and services;Expertise in budgeting experience in all aspects of finance and operationsEvidence of helping learners to achieve their full educational potentialCompetencies:Strong grounding in staterequired teaching and learning requirements and K12 curriculum expectationsExperience in coordinating/facilitating adult learning through professional development offeringsCollaborative leadership style that promotes teambuilding among staff and all major stakeholders in the ACCEPT districts;Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills;Skill to manage transportation services with a fleet of 60 vehicles and 53 drivers;Dexterity to manage communications and coordinate services among the 15 member districts as well as services for nonmember districts;Ability to grow ACCEPTs branding to increase student enrollment; Capacity to manage the onsite physical space at the Collaboratives home campus as well as the associated details of the lease;Coordination of all aspects of offsite programs and servicesCompensation: Competitive salary and benefits based on qualification and experience as well as competitive benefits and membership in the Massachusetts Teacher Retirement System.
