Job Description
K8 LAHB TEACHER ESY PROGRAM
POSITION OVERVIEW
To plan and provide instruction to students who require an Extended School Year (ESY) per their Individualized Education Program (IEP).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Planning for instruction of students to maintain skills and information per IEP
- Supervision of paraprofessionals
- Coordination of related service support
- Assessment and communication of progress with teachers and service providers
- Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment
QUALIFICATIONSPREFERRED:
- Mass DESE Mod. Disabilities Prek8 certificationrequired
- Wilson and/or Orton Gillingham and/or LiPS certificationrequired
- Teaching Experience for Students with Learning Disabilities/LanguageBased Learning Disabilities
Schedule:
- July 7 2025 July 31 2025
- 9:00 2:00 Monday Thursday
- Additional 12 days of training prior to start of program
- Additional 30 minutes per day for planning
