The Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is the Research and Development centre with around 500 R&D engineers specialists and experts who focus on developing maintaining Technology Products Digital solutions including product integration testing cybersecurity and certification. The India Development Centre is in Chennai and Bangalore which includes various product test labs spread over 20000 .
Mission Statement:
As a Business R&D Experienced Professional you will be involved in Product integration and system testing Experience in all phases of Software development life cycle (SDLC) Agile testing Experience in usage of test management tools like TFS/MTM Azure DevOps.
Your Responsibilities:
Substation Automation & Protection Domain Consultant
Substation Automation and Network control engineering concepts and solutions
Power system knowledge
Knowledge on Substation automation SCADA systems & Network control center concepts
Develop deploy and maintain a SCADA system.IEC61850 based engineering concepts and solutions to be applied in IED Configuration Tools
Testing for SA Communication protocols like IECIEC 61850 DNP3 IECIECFunctional documentation and review
Coordination on technical front with stakeholders

Your Background:
BE Electrical & Electronics / Communication
25 years of Experience
Knowledge in Engineering or Development of products/components for Substation Automation/SCADA System/Numerical Protection/Process Automation/Power Management Systems/ Energy Management Systems
Knowledge of Numerical relays and IED configuration tools RTUs.
Knowledge on Communication protocols: IEC61850.
Product integration and system testing Experience in all phases of Software development life cycle (SDLC) Agile testing Experience in usage of test management tools like TFS/MTM Azure DevOps.
Should be a team player. understand and optimize the architecture and design aspects from Domain perspective.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
