What Youll Do:
- Assist the ESG Manager with sustainability strategy planning and reporting
- Contribute to analysis and reporting for ESG metrics and activities including carbon emissions and waste
- Develop maintain and improve our Environment & Sustainability system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure management plansare active up to date and regularly audited for continuous improvement on all projects sites
- Oversee all project environmental monitoring site assessments remediation and advisory for project site teams
- Audit environmental compliance of projects and advise relevant strategies to improve environmental management and compliance
- Engage with Project teams Procurement and Commercial to implement best practise initiatives across operations
- Actively contribute to embedding a culture of sustainability thought leadership and inducting and training staff on regulatory requirements
- Guide project and design teams with ESD initiatives including Green Star requirements such as material selection / substitutions and reducing embodied carbon
- Support our New Business team with pursuits tendering and scoping new projects
Who You Are:
- A genuine passion and drive to continually improve environment and sustainability practices
- Tertiary qualifications in the Environment and Sustainability field or a related discipline
- Circa 5 years experience in a relevant Environmental role ideally with experience/understanding of the construction industry
- Current Drivers License and own transport
- Track record of overseeing environmental site assessments and remediation activities
- Well versed with relevant environmental legislation
- Moderatetoadvanced understanding of environmental management requirements in construction
- Strong stakeholder management influencing teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive decisionmaking
- Training and coaching experience (desirable)
