Senior leadership opportunity
Fixed Term Part Time 23.5 hours per fortnight)
About the Role
The Hospital After Hours Coordinator position is situated at St Georges Health Service located in Kew with inpatient Outpatient clinics Rehab and GEM @Home Programs Dialysis Acute Aged Mental Health and Residential Aged Care (located in Berengarra Prague and Auburn Houses).
- Responsible for independent coordination of administration and clinical activities after hours that include operational leadership of all nursing and non nursing units
- Management of emergency situations/Codes
- Act as an Afterhours Occupational Exposure Coordinator
- Intervention as required to maintain full occupancy of inpatient units
Classifications for this position is ZC5 $125288.80 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Div 1
- Previous knowledge and experience of Emergency Management
- Minimum of five years post registration clinical experience
- Experience in the management of a clinical unit ward or department desirable
- Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain
