Job Description
JOB TITLE: PHYSICAL THERAPIST REGISTERED (RPT)
PC# 1896
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Degree in Physical Therapy
- Qualifications as established by State of Alabama Certification Authorities
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Special Education Coordinator
JOB GOALS: To lead students toward their potential for intellectual emotional psychological and physical growth and maturation through appropriate guidance and learning experiences.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To serve as a resource to school staff members in the development and implementation of a balanced program of occupational physical academic and emotional improvement.
- To participate in the efficient and effective operation of the school and school system. Such participation shall include consultation through meetings conferences and committee responsibilities.
3. To understand and assist in upholding and enforcing school rules administrative regulations and Shelby County Board of Education Policy.
