Sanford has an exciting secondment opportunity for the role of Business Operations Manager for Supply Chain and Business Strategy team for Sanford Site. This position offers a unique chance to gain valuable experience and contribute to our dynamic team.
What You Will Achieve
As a Business Operations Manager you will be instrumental in optimizing our operations boosting efficiency and driving strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various departments across the Sanford site and within the supply chain to ensure smooth business processes and support our organizational objectives.
How You Will Achieve It
Portfolio Lead for tier 3 Site Strategy responsible for leading the development and of the sites strategic initiatives. This role involves collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive strategic projects facilitating strategic conversations within Tier 3 and ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives
Lead Supply Chain strategy to define design and implement business strategies within the Supply Chain organization to ensure business processes are integrated across the organization. This includes aligning supply chain projects with site priorities and ensuring they deliver tangible value.
Develop Site Master Plan to provide a comprehensive roadmap for the sites strategic blueprint. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that the site master plan aligns with the overall sites business strategy and objectives. The role also involves preparing and presenting reports on the site master plans progress and outcomes to tier 3 leadership team and other stakeholders including participating in meetings and providing updates on the status of the site master plan.
Monitor Performance Metrics and Provide Actionable Insights for supply chain. Facilitate supply chain business performance meetings with Supply chain Tier 2 leadership team to review key performance indicators (KPIs) and improve efficiency for the Supply Chain.
Develop and implement Supply Chain Communication Strategy that enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. Work closely with Supply Chain functional leader to ensure clear consistent and impactful communication across the organization.
Qualifications
MustHave
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a masters degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR a PhD with 0 years of experience; OR as associates degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
Track record in project/program management in an agile way of working
Strong analytical planning and problemsolving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
