JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project planning and communication of the strategic and tactical management of projects related to the Presidents strategic plan. The Project Coordinator will work closely with a project manager and project team to ensure project goals are met on time and within scope. The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Director and will support a project team consisting of administrative support communications organizational change management and project management.
Responsibilities include:
Education and Experience:
Minimally requires a Bachelors Degree 1 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.A Project Management industry certification or equivalent relevant experience/education is strongly preferred (e.g. PMI or similar.
Competencies critical to success include:
The Project Coordinator must have a strong customer service orientation and an understanding of Penn State culture and constituent needs. This position also requires a baseline understanding of transition processes in order to facilitate successful progress from project initiation and to deployment and operations. An intermediate background in project management practice and methodology is preferred supported by demonstrable skills of leadership discernment and communication.
This is a term appointment funded for two years from the date of hire.
The location of this position is flexible and can operate fully remote within the United States fully inperson at our University Park Campus or in a hybrid model of both inperson and remote. Standard working hours are in the eastern time zone. The Office of Enterprise Change and Transformation is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the related to flexible work hours should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.

The salary range for this position including all possible grades is:
$61800.00 $89600.00Salary Structure additional information on Penn States job and salary structure.
