Job Description
Amazon is seeking a communications professional to drive international product PR for Ring and Blink product launches. This is a unique opportunity to own the international communications program for two of Amazons most innovative consumer tech brands.
As a PR Specialist for Ring and Blink you will be responsible for supporting gotomarket (GTM) plans for products and services; supporting incountry PR Managers to generate local coverage. Youll be expected to develop strong and consistent messaging execute successful milestones and scale programs to reach a global diverse audience.
In this role youll partner closely with business product sales and marketing teams to drive the overall GTM process. As a key advisor to the business you must demonstrate excellent judgment earn trust with various internal stakeholders and be willing to dive deep into complex topics. You must also be able to clearly articulate ideas in both written and verbal communications anticipate potential issues and headwinds for the business find ways to simplify and streamline work and effectively advocate for decisions that protect the longterm interests of Amazon and its customers.
Key job responsibilities
Manage endtoend communications for product offerings including announcements launches and product reviews
Own annual planning as well as quarterly business reviews for the international PR team
Manage engagement with key media analysts and influencers
Experience in professional communications or public relations
Bachelors degree in communications public relations or a related field
Experience working with major brands preferably in the consumer technology sector
Experience working with crossfunctional teams and senior leadership
Experience with endtoend product communications (announcements launches reviews etc.
Experience in developing successful executive thought leadership strategies for major brands
Knowledge of the smart security sector
Strong understanding of international media landscapes and local PR needs
