Trading Operations & Onboarding Associate

Location: Denver CO Hybrid

SS&C ALPS Advisors is seeking a Trading Operations and Onboarding Associate to support the efficient of trading activity and client onboarding across a range of investment strategies. This role is instrumental in ensuring operational accuracy timely account setup and smooth coordination across internal teams custodians and thirdparty partners.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Client Onboarding: Manage the endtoend onboarding process for new Managed Account clients ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. This includes:
    • Collecting and verifying client data.
    • Coordinating with internal teams (e.g. legal compliance technology).
    • Setting up client accounts on our trading platform.
    • Tracking onboarding progress and reporting on key metrics.
    • Identifying and resolving any onboarding issues.
  • Trading Operations Support: Provide critical support to the trading team by:
    • Processing client requests (e.g. deposits withdrawals transfers).
    • Executing trades and rebalancing client accounts according to established strategies.
    • Managing and reconciling trade data.
    • Monitoring account performance and identifying potential issues.
    • Generating reports and providing data analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams including sales client service and technology to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to client onboarding and trading operations.

What You Will Bring:

  • Project Management: Ability to manage tasks meet deadlines and collaborate with multiple teams. Familiarity with project tracking tools is beneficial.
  • Financial Services Knowledge: Understanding of financial markets and investment products. Experience with SMAs or similar investment vehicles is a plus.
  • Working with Data: Strong attention to data accuracy and experience working with large datasets. Proficiency in Excel and similar tools.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable learning new systems and tools. Experience with trading platforms or portfolio management systems is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness especially important in onboarding and trading processes.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • ProblemSolving: Able to quickly identify issues and contribute to effective solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Education: A bachelors degree in finance business or a related field is preferred.

Colorado: Salary range for the position: $65000 USD to $75000 USD.
