Job Description
Job Summary:
This is an hourly entrylevel position ideal for someone starting their career in accounting or finance with an expected duration of approximately four months and the potential to transition into a permanent fulltime opportunity based on business needs and performance. Youll work closely with experienced team members to help organize financial information assist with reports and support daytoday accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help set up and track projects in our financial system (SAP)
- Organize and maintain records for company equipment and assets
- Support the team in reviewing expenses and making sure they are recorded correctly
- Assist with converting projects to assets removing assets from the system and other projectrelated data
- Help prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets
- Assist with journal entries and data entry for monthly accounting tasks
- Work with other departments to gather information and answer simple questions
- Follow established processes to help ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
- Willingness to learn accounting processes and financial systems
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel (training provided)
- Good communication skills and a teamfirst attitude
- Ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
Preferred but Not Required:
- Some coursework or experience in accounting finance or business
- Familiarity with SAP or other accounting software
- Previous work or internship experience in an office or financerelated setting
Compensation will be $30.00 per hour payable weekly and in accordance with the Companys regularly established policies.
