Human Resource Generalist

FullTime

Indianapolis IN

Seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to a specailized maching and manufacturing team.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions including recruitment benefits administration and employee relations. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.

Human Resource Generalist Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment:

    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle including job postings screening interviewing and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
    • Conduct background checks and reference checks.

Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance retirement plans and other companysponsored benefits.
    • Provide guidance to employees on benefitsrelated inquiries and issues.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding benefits.

Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
    • Conduct investigations and resolve employee issues in a fair and consistent manner.
    • Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

General HR Support:

    • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records.
    • Assist with performance management processes and employee development programs.
    • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Human Resource Generalist Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
