The Department of Hospitalist Medicine at Good Samaritan Medical Center Brockton MA part of Boston Medical Center Health System is a teaching hospital seeking to recruit a boardeligible/boardcertified nocturnist hospitalist (part time) to join a team of 26 practitioners to provide highquality patientcentered care hospital. The candidate will join an established and stable hospitalist group with the opportunity to work with residents. The candidate should possess excellent clinical and communication skills and have a strong commitment to collaborate with other specialties to provide superior care. Nocturnists are scheduled 7/7 7p7a168 shifts per year see an average of 8 admissions per night and cover floor calls. Nocturnists are not required to perform procedures or round in the ICU. Candidate should be BE/BC able to obtain a Massachusetts medical license and meet hospital credentialing requirements.
Good Samaritan Medical Center located just 25 miles south of Boston is an acutecare 267bed hospital providing comprehensive inpatient outpatient and Level III Trauma emergency services to Brockton and 22 neighboring communities. The hospital offers Centers of Excellence care in orthopedics oncology and cardiology specialized car e in surgery familycentered obstetrics with leveltwo nursery substance abuse treatment and advanced diagnostic imaging.
