ANNOUNCEMENT OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Recreation Site Host 2 openings
Goldwater Lake 1 Watson Lake 1
This is a volunteer position.
As volunteers for the City of Prescott the Recreation Site Host shall provide customer service and custodial duties for the City of Prescotts citywide Recreation Services sites during the camping season.
Duties:
- Working a schedule and duties; provided by the Recreation Services Department Maintenance Supervisor or designee
- Assisting campers with camping registrations and payments
- Keeping track of occupied and reserved sites; directing campers to vacant sites
- Working cooperatively with Department maintenance staff and volunteers
- Wearing any uniform items provided by the Department
- Complying with all park rules and regulations
- Working closely with law enforcement personnel as needed
- Keeping their campsite in a presentable condition
- Opening and closing entrance gates as requested
- Keeping pets under control at all times
- Manage site when reserved for a largescale event
- Other duties as assigned
