Job Description

Axiom is seeking a skilled Trust and Estates Lawyer to support our client an established trust and estate and property law firm on a 6 8 month contract engagement. Ideal candidates will have 5 years of experience counseling private clients on trust and estates property conveyancing and residential and commercial leasing. This is a fulltime contract opportunity requiring 2 days inoffice in Laidley Queensland.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice and counsel to private clients on matters related to trust and estates including the drafting and administration of wills trusts and estate plans.
  • Conduct property conveyancing processes ensuring smooth transactions and compliance with relevant regulations and legislation for both residential and commercial properties.
  • Oversee and manage residential and commercial leasing agreements advising clients on tenant and landlord rights obligations and dispute resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the firms legal team to deliver comprehensive estate planning solutions tailored to meet the unique needs and objectives of each client.
  • Maintain a consistent inoffice presence two days per week in Laidley Queensland to facilitate client meetings and support collaborative team efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estates law property conveyancing and residential and commercial leasing with a demonstrated track record of successfully advising private clients.
  • Hold a valid legal qualification and be admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction with specialized knowledge in trust and estates and property law.
  • Be available and willing to work onsite in Laidley Queensland for at least two days per week to engage with clients and participate in team activities.
