Job Overview
L&H Companies is experiencing growth and is seeking to add a highly motivated selfstarter to our accounting team as a Staff Accountant. As the Staff Accountant you will assist with cost accounting aid in the month end close process perform account reconciliations process accounts receivable/payable transactions assist with inventory maintenance analyze general ledger activity and create financial schedules. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problemsolving skills excellent time management and a strong attention to detail.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the daily accounting department functions
- Support Month end/Year end Close
- Journal Entries
- Invoicing
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual state sales tax filings
- Assisting with state compliance reporting
- Support the annual CPA review
Requirements
- Onsite fulltime role in Reading PA.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management
- Strong analytical skills
- Work both independently and in collaboration with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
