Job Description
School Nurse Substitute
The School Nurse is responsible for performing student medical/health procedures as required during the school day with parent permission according to a physicians order in accordance with the Tennessee Nursing Practice Act applicable state laws and the Greeneville City Schools job description. The part time/as needed positionworks no morethan 29.5 hours per week and does NOT include benefits.
Current valid unrestricted license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Tennessee is required. CPR BLS by American Heart Certification required prior to start date. Minimum of one 1 year experience in pediatric nursing public health nursing school health nursing or community health nursing preferred. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION (RN) $18.00 per hour
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION (LPN) $14.00 per hour
