YOUR MISSION

As a Junior Operations Manager youll take the wheel in managing operational performance and courier supply across some of Glovos most strategic Italian cities. Couriers are at the heart of our marketplace and youll play a key role in ensuring both their daily performance and the longterm sustainability of our fleet.

Youll be driving datainformed decisions leading impactful projects and helping shape the future of logistics in one of the most dynamic environments out there.

THE JOURNEY

• Define priorities and craft action plans to improve operational metrics and courier performance.
• Analyze daily and weekly KPIs with a strategic lens ensuring longterm success across all cities in your region.
• Lead efficiency and qualityfocused projects to reduce delivery times control costs and elevate courier satisfaction.
• Build and maintain smooth crossfunctional communication to ensure fast accurate information flows between city teams and central functions.
• Maintain full awareness of courier supply status at all times becoming the goto expert on your cities fleet performance.
• Use data to identify best practices standardize processes and drive consistent improvement across cities and countries.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• A Masters degree in a technical or analytical field (e.g. Engineering Economics Business Administration etc..
• 2 years of experience in demanding analytical or operational roles (consulting strategy finance logistics or tech).
• Exceptional analytical skills you can turn complex data into actionable insights that drive impact.
• Youre a problemsolver who gets energy from diving deep and cracking tough challenges.
• Youre not afraid to get your hands dirty: youre comfortable working in the field and directly supporting our couriers.
• Knowledge in SQL and Python and handson experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Looker or Data Studio.
• Highly autonomous resultsdriven and detailoriented you make things happen.
• Fluent inEnglish and Italian
