We are looking fora Technical Support Engineer whowants to have an influence onsustainabilityaninnovation along with satisfaction inbeing part of the solution and collaborationwith crossfunctional teams.
This position is located in the Lenexa KS area.
The Technical Support Engineer (TSE) provides technical support and expertise to Customers internal Customer Support and Field Service teams for Primary/Secondary meat processing.. The TSE ensures that cases are actioned accordingly to the customer focused KPIs / promise and that they deliver to the agreed service level in every touch point.
What you will be doing:
- Offer technical remote support to customers and engineers by diagnosing and resolving standard issues with the installed equipment in the region.
- Utilize remote access tools interpret diagnostic data and provide support using augmented reality technology.
- Effective communicator who listens carefully asks pertinent questions and identifies the customers true needs.
- Proficient in using advanced IT tools such as CRM (ServiceMax) Outlook PLM systems Knowledge Bases and others.
Other duties assigned as required by the business.
What we are looking for:
- Technical college degree preferred degree in Mechanical Mechatronic Electrical or Software engineering
- Broad technical and analytical skills related to the installed equipment in the region.
- Field service experience in a food processing environment or technical support is preferred (over 2.5 years) and/or willingness to undergo extended onthejob training to gain the necessary experience.
- Proficient in CRM (ServiceMax) Outlook and PLM systems.

- A solid technical background is required with preference given to experience with highlevel food processing equipment; however candidates willing to undergo extensive onthejob training to gain this experience will also be considered.
- Outstanding communicator with strong analytical skills and the capability to perform well under pressure.
- Solid Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word) experience
- Industry professional in Technical Service Management with a focus on capital goods preferably with over 2 years of experience in the food industry or equivalent experience as a Field Service Engineer (FSE).
- Experience with and comfort working in a multicultural multidiscipline organization is an advantage.
