Finance Apprentice

• Klipboard is the leading specialist supplier of fully integrated ERP systems and related services to niche vertical markets in the wholesale and retail distribution logistics and service sectors.
• A fastpaced PE backed company moving through a period of high growth and operational transformation
• Following a restructure this role will join a newly formed payables team support all UK and US operations
• As part of the head office team working closely with the financial controller to ensue timely and accurate processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Financial Accountant:
• Rotation around department to include:
• Support the Accounts Payable team with all invoices received for UK and US operations
• Create payment run and manage supplier account details
• Create Customer records
• Setting up direct debit mandates and cash application
• Reconciliation of the travel booking providers invoices
• Support the process to review prepayments and accruals
• Support the Fixed Asset register maintenance
• Support month end tasks including balance sheets recs
• Other ad hoc Finance tasks as required
• Support of projects in the finance team including UAT of system change

Skills Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

• Comfortable working within a fast paced finance team
• Comfortable working with a team spread across multiple sites
• Excellent IT skills including Excel
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at varying levels in the organisation
• Ability to work well within challenging environments

Desirable

• AAT qualification or studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification
