Position Summary

Ryan Specialty Benefits (RSB) is embarking on an exciting technology transformation. As a new business unit within Ryan Specialty Group we are dedicated to enhancing our speed to market and improving underwriting results through innovative software solutions.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Development Delivery LeadBenefits to guide our IT team and vendor partners. This role is pivotal in managing the creation and support of software applications and integrations ensuring reliability quality and predictability through a wellmanaged agile SDLC process. The Delivery Lead will work closely with business leadership to deliver effective ontime solutions that meet our business objectives.

What will your job entail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic vision and leadership for ITs role in adding value to the business.
  • Manage budgeting expenses and personnel.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Ryan Specialty Benefits business leaders.
  • Oversee the quantification delivery and testing of development efforts on a regular sprint cycle.
  • Collaborate with IT department leaders in design scoping support and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize collaborative communication and project management platforms for visibility.
  • Ensure ongoing skills development for all development staff.
  • Represent the company at industry events.
  • Stay updated on the latest technological innovations for potential adoption.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for project .
  • Track and report capital development projects to Treasury.

Technology Stack:

  • Inspire Innovations for intake automation workflow orchestration underwriting claims and marketing workbenches.
  • Coherent Spark for rater integration.
  • Insuritys SureMGA product for backoffice management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or information technology.
  • 5 years of experience in software development and delivery.
  • 5 years of experience in insurance process automation preferably in Employee Benefits.
  • 5 years of personnel and team management experience.
  • Deep understanding of modern development processes including requirements visualizations prototyping Agile and SDLC.

The target salary range for this position is $136000.00 $170000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors such as training transferable skills work experience licensure and certification business needs and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Fulltime roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
