FullTime Skilled Tailor/Seamstress Granger IN
Specialized Staffing Solutions is seeking a fulltime Sales Associate direct hire for a drycleaning Company Ziker Cleaners!
Responsibilities:
Garment Alterations:
Perform custom alterations repairs and adjustments on a variety of garments including hemming taking in or letting out seams and resizing.
Ensure garments meet customer specifications providing a high level of accuracy and quality.
Fitting and Consultation:
Conduct fitting sessions with customers to understand their specific alteration needs.
Offer expert advice on garment adjustments to achieve the best fit while maintaining garment integrity.
Repair Services:
Repair damaged clothing including patching zipper replacement and button reattachment.
Address any garment defects or issues to restore clothing to likenew condition.
Fabric and Garment Care:
Work with a variety of fabrics including delicate and highend materials ensuring proper handling.
Stay informed on garment care and best practices for maintaining fabric quality during alterations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the customer service team to ensure timely completion of alteration orders.
Communicate effectively with front counter staff to confirm order details and delivery timelines.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of alteration orders including measurements special requests and deadlines.
Ensure all garments are returned to customers in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress.
- Strong sewing and alteration skills with experience working on a variety of fabrics and garments.
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and alterations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tailoring equipment and safety practices.
- Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs. throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talkreadhear) work instructions.

FullTime Work:
Monday through Friday with some Saturdays 10AM6PM $17$20/hr.
