Provides administrative direction for the Medical Staff Services Department.
Facilitates all aspects of the organization and credentialing for medical staff and allied
health professional staff members for the Cooper Health System.
Facilitates all aspects of managed care credentialing for University PhysiciansCooper.
Responsible for development and implementation of programs operations budgeting
staffing and strategic planning for the department.
Minimum of 5 years experience in medical staff services including managerial experience required.
Must possess detailed knowledge of requirements/standards JCAHO NCQA State and other regulatory organizations.
Bachelors degree required masters degree preferred.
Certified Professional in Medical Staff Services (CPMSM) and or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) by the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) is required.
