Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Selenium Automation Lead with 6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the QA automation efforts designing robust test automation frameworks mentoring team members and ensuring highquality deliverables across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the automation testing team ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Design develop and maintain scalable and reusable Seleniumbased automation frameworks.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers manual testers business analysts and product owners to define automation strategy.
Participate in requirement analysis and identify test scenarios for automation.
Review test scripts and provide technical guidance to the team.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab).
Conduct code reviews maintain code quality and enforce best practices in test automation.
Monitor test identify test failures perform root cause analysis and raise bugs with detailed information.
Track automation metrics and prepare reports on automation coverage and efficiency.
Stay uptodate with new testing tools strategies and industry trends.
Required Skills:
Candidate should be flexible to work on other automation tool if require
Strong handson experience in Selenium WebDriver using Java (preferred) Python or C#.
Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks like TestNG JUnit or BDD (Cucumber).
Proficient in version control systems like Git/GitHub.
Experience with tools like Maven/Gradle Jenkins and Jira.
Familiarity with web services/API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Understanding of test management tools like TestRail Zephyr or similar.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent problemsolving communication and leadership skills.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB Selenium Agile) are a plus.
