Job Description
Funny and chatty female Support Worker wanted in the Shirebrook area.
Want to enable people with learning disabilities to enjoy the things that they love
Hello we are three ladies that live in the Shirebrook area. We are looking for someone friendly that can support us to live our lives in a way that is fun sensory and person centred.
We have a lot of different interests between us. Some of our favourite things are:
- Music singing and dancing
- Hair styling and nail painting
- Sweet treats
- Shopping and going out
- Sensory toys and games
We are looking for someone who has the following qualities:
- Encouraging and friendly
- Patient
- Committed reliable and a team player
- Has a sense of humour is fun and will have a laugh with us
- Is able to follow individual plans and support structured routines
- Skilled in nonverbal communication and is able to recognise it and use it
- Able to provide sensory support to make activities engaging
- It is essential that you are able to work waking nights weekends and bank holidays have a full UK drivers license and are able to drive manual cars
