Job Description:
Implements plan of care for specific patient population. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the perioperative environment.
May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program.
Qualification & Certification:
Required for Certified Surgical Technician:
TS Trade School Graduate in Surgical technologist
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Other/National
Virginia Surgical Techs are required to be Licensed with the VBOM.
Required for OR Technician:
TS Trade School Graduate in Surgical technologist
