We are currently seeking an Account Manager for our QLD Recycling business. Based at our Brendale site youll be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts as well as driving new business growth within the region.
In this role you will be out meeting customers face to face negotiating contracts and also prospecting for new business opportunities. This is a small team so we will value someone who is happy to step in wherever and whenever help is needed aside from your daytoday role.
You will contribute to the success of Opal by:
- Maintaining and continuously growing and improving existing customer relationships
- Working closely with customers to develop & deliver recycling solutions specific to their needs
- Taking a handson approach to managing client relationships and developing a deep understanding of their business needs
- Prospecting and hunting for new business relationships and customers within your region

Specifically for this role we expect you will have;
- Some sales or account management experience ideally with recycling or waste management industry knowledge
- Plenty of selfmotivation and the ability and willingness to work autonomously without much supervision
- A strong sales mentality and be results and KPI driven
- Endless amounts of enthusiasm and passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
- The ability to thrive and articulate your point of difference in a highly competitive market
