The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the other members of the special education team to ensure a comprehensive special education program is available for all students in the district. The school psychologist will provide direct support and interventions to students consult with teachers families and other schoolemployed mental health professionals (i.e. school counselors school social workers) to improve support strategies and work with school administrators to improve schoolwide practices and position will begin on June 16 2025 and end on 8/15/25. The successful candidate will work up to 25 hours over this time period conducting evaluations attending meetings and providing direct services for the ESY Responsibilities:Conduct cognitive sociialemotional behavioral developmentaland academic assessments then complete written reports and participate in appropriate special education meetingsMonitor student progress on individualized goals and communicate effectively with parents about progress during the ESY programProvides behavior and mental health based services focused on students individual needs such as social skills individual and group counseling problem solving anger management conflict resolution positive coping skills and resilience postive peer relationships social problem solving for the ESY program
