Job Description
Lakeside High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our team of educators for theacademic year. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence and student growth with the flexibility and expertise to teach a range of math courses. Depending on qualifications and scheduling needs the teacher may be assigned to teach any combination of the following courses:
Algebra I
Algebra II
Geometry
Quantitative Reasoning
AP Statistics
AP Precalculus
AP Calculus
College Algebra/College Trigonometry
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction aligned with state and national standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.
Design and implement assessments to monitor student learning and provide timely feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum analyze student data and support schoolwide initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
Participate in professional development and school community events.
Salary ranges from a minimum $51000 to a maximum $73311 based on the 2024/25 salary schedule for a 190 day contract. Salary is based on experience. A complete salary schedule can be found on our school website.
