Summary:
Under general supervision of the Child Nutrition Program Manager to perform a wide variety of secretarial and routine administrative duties in support of the Child Nutrition Department; assist in the coordination planning organization and monitoring of the food service operations and nutritional programs and to provide general information and assistance to the public.

Computer telephone printer copier fax machine calculator and other standard office equipment and peripherals. District vehicle. Standard large and small kitchen equipment and tools including electric slicer mixer pressure steamer deepfat fryer sharp cutting tools stove oven dishwasher and food/utility cart etc.
Working Conditions:
Occasional absences are understood but regular attendance and punctuality is required. Frequent district wide travel is required. Employee may work prolonged or irregular hours. While performing the duties of this job continual walking frequent climbing (ladder) grasping/squeezing wrist flexion/extension overhead reaching prolonged standing frequent kneeling/squatting bending/stoop pushing/pulling and twisting is necessary. The employee must occasionally do lifting and carrying 1544 lbs.. Work inside in commercial kitchen environment; exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures extreme humidity noise vibration microwaves biological hazards (bacteria mold fungi) chemical hazards (fumes vapors gases) electrical hazards; work with hands in water; work around machinery with moving parts; work on slippery surfaces. Employee must work with frequent interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress.
