Job Summary
This is a fulltime staff position to support the accounting and administrative functions of the Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) Office of Advancement and the BCTC Foundation. The position reports to the Vice President of Advancement and Workforce Development.
Job Duties:
1. Plans & executed the development organization preparation and updating of complex financial statements journals accounts ledgers & reports for various financial needs within an automated financial system to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions to support the BCTC Office of Advancement & the BCTC Foundation.
2. Analyzes financial reports data and records identifies discrepancies investigates and recommends solutions as needed.
3. Monitors automated financial systems develops and documents controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
4. Audits reconciliations journal entries schedules and reports.
5. Scholarship fund administration oversight.
on annual reports to scholarship donors including Schell and Emergency fund management. Works collaboratively with the office of Advancement staff the Executive Director of the BCTC Foundation & interfaces with the BCTC Foundation board of directors.
7. Works with the Advancement staff to ensure invoicing and follow through on donations follow through with donor communications internal tracking and report preparation.
8. Supports Advancement and Foundation events through administrative organization and planning.
9. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Administrative and/or Office Systems Business Management or related field. and 4 years of related experience or equivalent
