Summary: Commercial cleaning background preferred but the district would be willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities include the nightly oversight of custodial work on the Lamoille Union Campus along with the custodial work of its section as well as coordination of event set up and take down. Participates in job related trainings instructions and activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) for the daily custodial operations in assigned location in compliance with the district cleaning standards cleaning of assigned building the neat and clean appearance of the building at all times. Conducts periodic building walkthrough with self and/or Principal/Facilities disposable technology resources to review daily needs and to prepare necessary building and equipment setups. facility for evening/night and weekend all relevant problems associated with the building to the Principal and/or Facility Director. that established protocols for annual building openings and closings are and over sees routine and preventative maintenance at assigned and maintains the equipment which includes but is not limited to tractor auto scrubber wet/dry vacuums buffing machines and carpet chemicals cleaning solutions and power equipment in accordance with product specifications and with all safety rules and regulations. Disposes of hazardous wastes according to district policies and established State and EPA in building security and student safety by: building/fire codes are to be oncall for any emergency of all emergency shut offs (gas electric and water. a safe campus by making sure that all windows and doors are secured at appropriate times and end of other duties as assigned by building principal or Facilities DirectorShift Leader Responsibilities: Manages assigned support staff in accordance with the Principal and Facility Director directives and the Districts policies and applicable laws. Assigned responsibilities may include training planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
