The Amazonian Leadership eXperiences (ALX) orgs Workforce product team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead technical strategy for Workforce Planning. Workforce Planning is a brand new set of companywide mechanisms and tools empowering leaders to make longterm decisions on the size composition and cost of their organizations. The resulting integrated system enables closedloop planning across all functions. Amazon Executives utilize this to model plan and evaluate workforce decisions in realtime using embedded intelligence to guide them toward optimal talent decisions. This will ensure Amazon has the right people in the right roles and locations to serve customers effectively.

We seek a talented Senior Product Manager who is looking for the next opportunity to innovate build and learn delivering software solutions endtoend and at scale. In this role you must combine your technical and product management skills to deliver crossfunctional initiatives. Key job responsibilities

You will succeed in these endeavors by combining your product and technical experience with your ability to listen to learn from and communicate with customers as well as diverse group of collaborators. You do not let yourself get blocked and have a whatever it takes attitude about delivery taking ownership for the endtoend product. You have demonstrated experience with product management in software development from writing strategy documents (operating plans PRFAQs multiyear plans) to writing business or technical requirements testing technical design review and operational excellence. You dive deep whether it is into metrics for the business or technical requirements with engineering and science partners.

Bachelors degree
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements prioritize incoming work requests and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
Experience in an operational environment developing fastprototyping piloting and launching analytic products
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Quantitative background with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in an everchanging environment.
Proven ability to identify analyze and solve ambiguous problems independently with an extreme attention to detail.
Excellent organizational presentation and writing skills and ability to successfully interact across functions at all levels of an organization and with customers.
Strong written and verbal communication and persuasion skills.
Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap and gain buyin from stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders without formal authority leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units.
Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and userfriendly products and customerfacing features.
Prior experience working as a software developer or UX designer.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
