The UH Hilo School of Education has served as a resource to area educators for decades teaching in a culturally rich and diverse setting and conducts as well as guides action research to expand knowledge of teaching and learning providing highquality integrated inquiry and placebased undergraduate and graduate programs.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the newly established Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education Studies program at UH Hilo contributing to curriculum development program implementation and student mentorship. This program is designed to prepare future educators with a strong foundation in culturally responsive pedagogy placebased learning and community engagement aligning with the educational needs of Hawaiis diverse K5 student population.
