Your day to day as a Customer Service Representative

As a FullTime Customer Service Representative at HME Specialists in Santa Fe New Mexico you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Answering incoming telephone calls and assisting walkin customers you will use your excellent communication skills to obtain complete and accurate information for patient demographics. Your attention to detail will be crucial. By ensuring the intake process is completed accurately you will contribute to clean claim submissions.

In this role you will have the opportunity to assist walkin customers and help in creating a good professional experience with customers in person. You will receive orders for delivery pickup discontinuance maintenance or changes in service. Your ability to determine charges and coverage for the requested service as well as collect copays will be invaluable. With exceptional data entry skills you will insert information into the system while documenting complaints of service and equipment failures.

Your empathy and problemsolving skills will shine as you speak with dissatisfied customers coordinating the correction of their complaints and ensuring service recovery. By providing exceptional customer service you will contribute to the overall success of our company and the satisfaction of our valued customers. Are you a good fit for this Customer Service Representative job

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at HME Specialists you will need a range of skills and qualities. While previous homecare or medical office experience and/or knowledge of Medicare is preferred it is not required. What is essential is excellent telephone and communication skills. As a representative of our company you will be the first point of contact for our customers so your ability to listen attentively provide clear information and address their concerns will be key.

Attention to detail is crucial in this role as you will be responsible for obtaining accurate information for patient demographics verifying insurance benefits/eligibility and documenting complaints. Being able to multitask in a fastpaced environment is also important as you will be answering calls assisting walkin customers and inputting data into our information system simultaneously. Basic computer knowledge is necessary as you will be required to use various software and tools. Being bilingual is a plus as it will enable you to assist a wider range of customers effectively.
