Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma/GED
  2. Experience in energy management services desired
  3. Three years of budget or finance experience
  4. Ability to work and communicate effectively with district employees
  5. Maintains and organizes energy management records
  6. Two years of college preferred

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Annual Contract 250 Days

SALARY:

$51783 (BA2

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist the Manager of Energy Management in the managing and balancing the districts energy budget preparation of monthly quarterly and annual Energy Reports.
  2. Assist in implementing energy measures that will significantly reduce the impact on the Districts Energy Budget.
  3. Manage the Districts water budget: review invoices and verify accuracy of 500 monthly utility meters/accounts (electricity natural gas and water). Input all data from 500 utility meters/accounts in the energy data base weekly.
  4. Receive/prepare all utility bills for the district: establish and/or maintain access to online portals for electricity natural gas and water.
  5. Serve as the Liaison between CFISD and the public utility providers to negotiate billing discrepancies disputes errors while seeking prompt resolutions for credits due to CFISD.
  6. Submit bills to Finance Department every Tuesday AM and deliver checks to the billing offices to avoid late fees.
  7. Inform Maintenance Director & Supervisors of high electric water gas usages and MUD Notices. Submit work orders when necessary.
  8. Setup accounts to access the Smart Water Meter portal to receive alerts of potential leaks.
  9. Receive/record incentive checks from energy vendors and deliver to Finance Department.
  10. Establish new accounts request Power Movein orders Release and pole removals to our energy providers.
  11. Obtain CCRs and Rate Orders from MUD websites. Scan & send a report to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) each year as well as inform COO of any water violations and for Public Information Requests as required.
  12. Generate invoices for Club Rewind and the Food Production Dept for utility costs at all
  13. Ensure department has adequate materials/supplies necessary for office
  14. Provide administration assistance for the Manager of Energy Management.
  15. Coordinate and manage all travel expenses for the Energy Management Department.
  16. Other duties as assign.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Prolonged use of computer. Repetiive hand motions. Frequent standing walking: moderate bending stooping pushing pulling and lifting up to 25 pounds. Exposure to cold and refrigerated areas.
