Job Description

Senspex in Rio Rancho New Mexico is seeking to hire a Network Administrator II for our Military Mission Support team in Yakima WA!


This position begins July 1 2025.


The Network Administrator II will be directing others in repair of equipment replacing components deploying computer images tracing and correcting network problems including ethernet and fiber optic networks. A knowledge of test equipment such as digital multimeters network and fiber test equipment is required for this position. This person must be able to work independently without supervision and possess good communication skills.


This position will support the WarfighterTraining Readiness Solutions (WTRS) contract. The WTRS task order is a missioncritical initiative designed to ensure full spectrum readiness for every soldier and unit across the U.S. Army!

What youll get to do as a Network Administrator II at Senspex:

  • System Engineering: Install test troubleshoot and repair software/hardware.
  • Resolve system failures and provide diagnostic support.
  • Manage DRTS equipment networks and databases.
  • Support simulations and live operations.
  • Conduct technical analysis and repairs.
  • Maintain and document system performance.
  • Perform assigned technical duties and pursue training.

The qualifications we require:

  • 3 years BA/BS or MA/MS degree or 8 years AA or 10 years no degree.
  • Minimum of four 4 years of experience in technical engineering support of field operations working with server computer systems software and operations in assessing and correcting faulty equipment.
  • Experience working with Audio and Video capture equipment.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a stressful fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent team skills and the ability to support across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Knowledge of analog digital radio and mesh systems.
  • Adept at Network equipment setup and configuration.
  • Proficient knowledge of electronics.
  • Requires the ability to operate and speak clearly over military handheld radios and telephones.
  • Operate a four wheeled drive vehicle up to 1 ton in off road conditions.
  • Works well with others on a team and has strong communication skills and a customerservice attitude.
  • Current State Drivers License required; must be able to be insured through companys vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours and for the duration of employment.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
  • National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs
  • Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
  • Must be able to successfully pass a preemployment background and drug test
